2010 Is Here! Now What?

I have been asking that question in the briefings I have facilitated lately. It is essential for us to get past a "wait and see what's going to happen" mind set. It's NOT about the economy! It's about transformation; not just about becoming better, but becoming different. In these briefing, I discuss where and how to start the process of transformation and renewal.

Regardless of your personal or professional role, it is time to focus on becoming better AND different. It makes no difference whether what you have been doing is or is not working. You must become better and different before change is forced upon you. The best of the best (companies and individuals) are in a constant state of improvement; continuous learning must be your mantra.

OK! So where can you start if you need to catch up and get on a path to achieve your personal goals for 2010 and beyond? Begin by examining your behavior and motivators. After all, you are the person managing you. Are you connecting with your stakeholders - internal and external - in the most effectiveness manner?
